Internships of Third Cohort

For the third cohort of COASTHazar students, the fourth semester is currently in full swing. The fourth semester consists of the MSc thesis work. Research is being conducted at one of the partner universities. The fourth semester also provides opportunities for internships at one of the COASTHazar Associated Partners. The programme provides opportunities for short-term internships, as well as internships that are combined with the MSc thesis work.

The year, 7 short-term internships were conducted by COASTHazar students, at the Marine Science Youth Camp of the Ocean University of China (3) at the Mike 21 Course of DHI in Denmark (2) at the Portuguese Environmental Agency (APA) (1), and at CBCL – Engineering and Environmental Design Services in Canada (1). At the moment, 16 MSc thesis internships are taking place in collaboration with an Associated Partner, with knowledge institutions IHCantabria in Spain (6) and Deltares in the Netherlands (3), as well as with The University of Western Australia (2), Instituto Dom Luiz in Portugal (2), with engineering consultancies CDR International in the Netherlands (1) and IMDC in Belgium (1), and with Van der Meer Consulting, in collaboration with the University of Salento in Italy (1).
