The COASTHazar consortium has officially submitted a grant renewal proposal to the European Commission to support four additional student intakes. The proposal reflects the valuable lessons learned during the first grant period and introduces several small adjustments aimed at strengthening the programme and enhancing the experience for future cohorts. A new set of Associated Partners has been included in the revised programme as well. The proposal highlights the strong impact of the programme to date, including its high employability rate of 92% among graduates from the first two cohorts.
If approved, the next phase of the programme (COASTHazar Cycle 2) is scheduled to begin in September 2027, continuing the consortium’s commitment to advancing research and training in coastal hazard resilience.
